About: Becky Elia played lacrosse for 10 years as both an attacker and defender. She graduated from Sun Valley High School in 1997 where she earned a lacrosse scholarship to Pfeiffer University in North Carolina. She later transferred to Neumann University where she continued playing lacrosse and earned Second Team All Conference Honors in 2000 and First Team All Conference Honors in 2001 and 2002. After graduation, Elia accepted an invitation to play in the National Lacrosse Tournament in Lake Placid, New York. In 2016, Elia started the Little Scoopers Division for the Aston AA Girls Lacrosse program. In October 2022, she joined the HEADstrong PA Girls program as the head coach of the 2027/2028 team. Outside of lacrosse she is a dedicated wife, mother of three and has been an elementary school teacher for over 15 years.

Why HEADstrong? I coach for HEADstrong because I want to inspire athletes and encourage them to be better players, teammates and individuals, both on and off the field. I want to share my enthusiasm, passion and knowledge of the game and help others to embrace the sport of lacrosse.
