PHILADELPHIA (July 18, 2023) – The HEADstrong Lacrosse Club announced today that it has partnered with the Positive Coaching Alliance to continue to provide all youth and high school athletes in the program a positive, character-building experience.

“Over the past 16 years, we have been relentless in developing student-athletes with an emphasis on the whole person, just not their play on the field,” HEADstrong Director of Lacrosse Jon Knowles said. “Through this partnership we will be able to continue to do that while also allowing our players to take the lessons they learn through lacrosse and apply them to all aspects of their life.”

Through this partnership, HEADstrong Lacrosse players, coaches and parents will have access to all aspects of the Positive Coaching Alliance’s training modules, including live workshops, online courses and books by founder Jim Thompson. HEADstrong Lacrosse joins over 3,500 youth sports organizations, school districts, conferences and other organizations that are part of the Development Zone culture with a goal of using youth and high school sports to develop better athletes and better people.

The HEADstrong Lacrosse Club was established in 2006 by HEADstrong founder Nicholas Colleluori and HEADstrong supporters with a vision of empowering athletes to support the fight against cancer. HLC has established itself as a preeminent lacrosse organization that has grown nationally and is committed to providing its players with an incredible and fun-filled learning experience. Led by first-class directors and a dedicated staff that is comprised of both current and former professional athletes and collegiate lacrosse players who have played competitive lacrosse for the HEADstrong Lacrosse Club.
