Why HEADstrong: “Growing up in Ridley most people knew each other. I not only knew Nick, but I was lucky enough to call him my friend. Nick had the very biggest heart, but also was viciously tenacious on the field. Off the field you wanted to be around him and on the field you didn’t want to face him. He exemplified grit, hard work, and drive. From his best days to his last days you’d be hard pressed to see Nick without a smile on his face. His smile and personality were contagious. Coaching for Headstrong lacrosse, to me, means carrying out a little piece of Nicks legacy. Teaching youth about the game he loved and making sure his qualities are mixed in— grit, tenacity, hard work and a smile!”
