Mike Murphy

College: Duke University 

Coaching Experience: All-Time winningest coach in Penn men’s lacrosse league history, Murphy was the unanimous choice as the Ivy League Coach of the Year in 2019 while also earning USILA Division I Coach of the Year honors. His teams at Penn have included 20 All-Americans, 50 All-Ivy League Players, three Ivy League Rookies of the Year and 12 players that have gone on to join the professional ranks after concluding their time with the Quakers. In his 12 seasons at the helm of the program, the Quakers have won one Ivy League Regular season championship (2019), made seven Ivy League Tournament appearances, winning twice (2014 & 2019) and three NCAA Tournament appearances. Prior to taking over at Penn, Murphy spent seven seasons at Haverford College, leading them to the programs first Centennial Conference regular season title. Before becoming the head coach at Haverford, Murphy was an assistant coach at Penn, the  University of Virginia and Brown University.

Personal:

Murphy was a three-year starter at Duke and served as team captain as a senior.
